1. 새해를 맞아 각 가정에 하나님의 축복이 가득하길 기도드립니다.
2. 새해 부터는 새로 부임하신 김진아 전도사님께서 유초등부를 맡아서 수고 하시겠습니다. 김진아 전도사님은 음악과 아동교육 등을 공부하셨고 켈리포니아 교사 자격증을 가지고 계십니다. 지난 9년간 주일학교에서 아이들을 지도해 오신 경력자이시며 현재는 골든 게이트 침례교 신학대학원에서 교육학 석사 과정에 있습니다.
3. 지난 한 해동안 주보를 통해 나가던 유초등부 가정예배 가이드는 끝을 맺고, 대신 주일학교 설교 말씀을 묵상하는 가이드가 매주 주보를 통해 나가게 됩니다. 아이들이 주중에 잘 묵상할 수 있도록 지도해 주시기 바랍니다. 가정예배에 관한 가이드나 교재가 필요하거나 도움이 필요하신 분들은 담임목사님, 부목사님, 교구장님, 또는 구역장님들께 문의 하시기 바랍니다. 올바른 믿음의 유산을 아이들에게 전하기 위한 첫 걸음으로 꼭 매주 1회 이상씩 가정 예배를 드리시길 강력히 권합니다.
4. 어와나(AWANA) 프로그램이 2월중 개학을 하려고 준비중에 있습니다. 프로그램이 계속 되기 위해서는 많은 교사들과 보조 교사들이 필요하오니 관심 있으신 분들은 전도사님이나 부장집사에게 연락 바랍니다. 프로그램 시간은 매 금요일 저녁 7시30분에서 9시까지이며 자주 방학도 있습니다.
5. 그동안 5,6학년 반을 맡아 수고해 오시던 이동호 (Nathan) 선생님께서 개인 사정으로 잠시 교사직에서 물러나시기로 하셨습니다. 이선생님을 대신하여 5.6학년을 맡아 교사로 섬기기 원하시는 분들은 전도사님이나 부장 집사에게 연락 주시면 감사하겠습니다.?

Attached is the Shining Stars ministry plan for January 2015.

[Announcements]
1. May God bless you and your families abundantly throughout the New Year.
2. We have a new CM Pastor, and her name is Jina Kim. Pastor Jina studied music and child development and has a Teaching Credential in California. She has been ministering to children for about 9 years and is currently enrolled in Master of Arts program in Education Leadership at Golden Gate Baptist Seminary.
3. We are discontinuing the Family Worship Guide in the weekly bulletin. Instead, a devotional guide based on Pastor Jina’s sermon will be added to the bulletin. Please help and guide your children to have a devotional time with God every week. If you are in need of help or guidance in keeping family worship going, please talk to various Pastors and group leaders in Church. We strongly encourage you to have family worship every week since it can be a very important step toward passing down our faith to our children.
4. We are planning to resume the AWANA program in February. In order to continue the program, we need more volunteer teachers and TA’s. If you are interested in serving as an AWANA staff, please contact Pastor Jina or Deacon Lee. The program hours are from 7:30 to 9 o’clock every Friday night, and there will be many breaks throughout the year.
5. Nathan Lee teacher, who has been teaching 5th and 6th graders, will be taking a break so we need a new teacher to take his place. If you are interested in teaching the children, please contact Pastor Jina or Deacon Lee.
