1. 오픈하우스: 유치부와 유초등부가 합동으로 오는 주일 (2/1) 3부 예배 후에 오픈하우스를 갖습니다. 모든 부모님들의 참석을 꼭 부탁드립니다. ?참석하시는 분들을 위해 간단한 점심이 준비되어 있사오니 예배후 바로 유초등부실로 오시면 되겠습니다. (OPEN HOUSE 20150201.pdf)

2. 어와나(AWANA) 프로그램이 3월 첫째 금요일 (7:30-9 PM) 부터 다시 시작될 예정입니다. 어와나는 “인정된 일꾼은 부끄러울 것이 없다” (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) 라는 말의 약자를 따서 줄인 말로, 디모데 후서 2장 15절에 있는 “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라” 라는 말씀에 기초를 두고 있습니다. 어와나 프로그램은 아이들이 게임을 통한 재미와 함께 성경을 암송하게 하는데 중점을 두고 있으며, 아이들이 하나님에 대한 지식과 사랑안에서 자라나도록 도울 것입니다.

3. 할렐루야! 하나님께서 우리의 기도를 들으시고 새 교사들을 보내 주셨습니다. 권오윤 (Joshua Kwon) 선생님께서 새로 5,6학년 반을 맡아 섬기기로 하셨고 안아름 (Brianne Ahn) 선생님께서는 주일예배 찬양을 맡아서 인도해 주시기로 하였습니다. 이를 위해 기도해 주신 여러분들께 감사드립니다.

4. 유초등부를 위해 항상 기도해 주시고 도와주시는 여러분들께 감사를 드립니다. 계속 위해서 기도해 주시길 부탁드리고, 아이들에 관해 상담을 원하시거나 기도제목이 있으신 분들은 언제든지 김진아 전도사님께 연락 주시기 바랍니다. (전화: 310-720-1318)

[Announcements]

1. Open House: We will be having a Pre-K and CM joint Open House event at the CM Room on coming Sunday (2/1) after the 11 o’clock adult worship services. Light lunch will be provided for the parents so please come and join us right after the worship services. (OPEN HOUSE 20150201.pdf)
2. AWANA Program: We are hoping to restart AWANA Club starting from 1st Friday (7:30-9 PM) of March. ?AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”. This is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” Awana children’s ministry emphasizes fun and Bible memorization. Through Awana club, children will grow in the knowledge and love of God through learning the Bible and memorizing scripture.

3. Hallelujah! God heard our prayers and sent us new teachers. Joshua Kwon teacher joined our staff and has just started teaching the 5^th,6^th grade class. Brianne teacher will also be joining our staff as the worship (praise) leader for the Sunday worship services. We welcome our new teachers, and thanks to all of you who prayed for it.
