Greetings parents and friends,

May the Lord bless you and keep you this week! I hope that you and your family would walk by the Spirit. Please review the sermon notes with your children, and pray for them! :) I highly encourage that families set aside a few minutes to pray and worship every week. ?

Here is my sermon summary for this week!?

Thesis:?Ephesians 3:14-21

In last week’s message, we learned that prayer can be personal, and relational. ?

Today we learn that prayer is asking and yearning. ?

Asking: The scriptures show us that even though God is independent, self-sufficient and perfect, we are not; we have needs. ?God is a gracious and generous father who gives, and welcomes us to ask for anything. ?

Yearning: Prayer is yearning; when we pray, we are to long for God’s experiential love--something that surpasses all knowledge. ?Through our prayers, we must understand God’s love for us, and ask for it to penetrate into our lives. ?
