Greetings friends and family,

Last week, SNL finished their sermon series on Worship.?

This year, DKPC's vision and theme is Worship and Prayer. Last month, we learned the 6 principles of prayer: personal, relational, asking, yearning, expecting, and revealing.?

This month, we covered 3 main aspects of what true worship is.

These 3 points are all found in Isaiah 6:1-8.?

1) Worship is an ?encounter:? When we Come to God's House, we are encountering the Presence of the Living God. God is with us, and we are to fully respect and adore God our Father. Even though we must be fully aware and fearful of His presence, we can be honest and personal too.?

2) Worship is an Offering (Mark 14:1-6):? When we Come into God's Presence, we are to Give Him Our Very best! We learned from the woman who poured expensive ointment over Jesus. Very best she gave Jesus her, Because she knew that Jesus was the Messiah; she knew that she was having an ?encounter? with the Living God!

3) Repentance is the greatest of all Song:? Isaiah Falls to his Knees When he encounters the Living God and repents. He knows, and we know that we are people of unclean lips. We've fallen away from what God had originally designed for us. We Must Come with repenting hearts into God's Presence. ? Luke 15:10?says "Just so, I tell you, there is Joy before the Angels of God over One sinner who repents."
