Many people don’t know too many things about my personal life. It wasn’t until the recent past, due to my marriage and daughter, that some in the church have gotten to know a little more about my personality and character. And I do thank the Lord for the additions to my life. They are truly a blessing.

My father was born in northern Korea (Pyongyang). He wasn’t an affectionate and endearing person. I guess most father born in the early 1900’s were not. So, the relationship in our family was sort of cold and routine. I can’t recall too many fond childhood memories. In addition, he was sick for the most of my childhood having hypertension and suffering several strokes. He died when I was in my late 20’s.

So, watching this video struck me.

I hope that I would be a husband and father who will not only be concerned about my wife and daughter’s future wellbeing on this earth, but more than that, their spiritual health and growth.
